Michael L. Norris, PE
President
Principal in Charge

Mike is a Mechanical Engineering graduate of Milwaukee School of Engineering and a Registered Professional in PA, MD, AR & NY. He is ASHE and NCEES certified. The diversity of projects in his 25+ years of experience has given him a remarkable wealth of experiential knowledge that is difficult to match.


Philip A. Miller , PE
Electrical Engineer

Phil offers nine years of project experience, with a BA and MA in Architectural Engineering from The Pennsylvania State University, where he specialized in Lighting and Electrical Engineering. As a Registered Professional, Phil brings technological knowledge and contemporary concepts to every project he designs.


Dane Heimerman
Design Engineer - Mechanical

Dane is a graduate of Michigan Technological University with a BS in Mechanical Engineering. His responsibilities include mechanical engineering calculations and design, and whole building energy simulations for projects seeking Energy Star or LEED Certification. He is also a member of the Order of the Engineer.


Karen E. Norris, LEED AP
Director of Marketing

Karen is Director of Marketing and a designer/drafter with over 15 years of experience working for both architects and engineers. She is involved in all aspects of the LEED certification process, proposal submissions, marketing, web site design and Power Point presentations, CAD drafting, field surveys and code research.


Dan P. Shawver
Designer/Drafter - Plumbing

Dan graduated from the CADD program at Mifflin Juniata Career & Technology Center and acquired an AS in Engineering Technology from South Hills School of Business & Technology. He designs plumbing and fire suppression systems including water efficiency design for projects attempting LEED certification.


Robert W. Fye
Designer/Drafter - HVAC

Robert also has an AS in Engineering Technology from South Hills School of Business & Technology. He is a CAD technician and HVAC system designer for MLNAI. His capabilities include three-dimensional drafting of ductwork layouts to help assure that systems will fit as intended when built.


Brian T. Koze
Student Intern - Electrical

Brian is a fifth year Architectural Engineering student at The Pennsylvania State University, specializing in lighting and electrical system design. He is adept at using three-dimensional drafting and lighting simulation software to preview how lighting designs will look when constructed.


Cynthia N. McGill
Office Administrator

Cindy has a Continuing Education Diploma in Business Management from The Pennsylvania State University along with 3 1/2 years of study in math and education at Thiel College. She handles all the reception, clerical and bookkeeping aspects of MLNAI as well as preparing specifications and shop drawings for distribution.
