Brewsky's Bottle Shop - HVAC & Electrical Upgrade

This project involved the conversion of a bar/lounge into a take-out pizza and bottle shop. We were requested to evaluate the existing systems and create a new design that would reduce installation and proposed operating costs.

The existing large, floor to ceiling, wood-framed, single pane windows were drafty in the wintertime. Locating the new pizza ovens in front of the windows added a heat source near the drafty exterior. Since the ovens would be visible through the windows, the panes were modified to mask the kitchen equipment and reduce the exterior visual impact. The make-up air intake was custom fit within one of the windows behind the ovens.

Value engineering with sound engineering practices were applied to the remainder of the design to save the owner costs while meeting difficult code compliance issues.
