A sloping site offer the opportunity for this dentist to have his practice on the upper level with its entrance on one side of the building, and lease space to a completely separate practice on the lower level with its own entrance on the opposite side. This design eliminated the need for an elevator in the two-story building. Separate utility meters were provided for electricity, gas and water.
